On-Hire Bunker & Hold Condition Survey in Izmit | Vals Marine

Vals Marine Survey Company recently attended a vessel at Izmit Port, Türkiye, on behalf of the Owners, in connection with an On-Hire Bunker and Hold Condition Survey.

The assignment covered both the vessel’s bunker quantities and the condition of the cargo holds. Our survey team carried out the required physical measurements, reviewed the relevant vessel records and documented the condition of the vessel and holds through detailed observations and photographic evidence.

During the bunker quantity verification, the measured quantities were reconciled against the vessel’s logbook figures. The survey established that the onboard quantities were approximately:

VLSFO: +6.326 MT
LSMGO: +2.417 MTagainst the quantities recorded in the vessel’s logbook.
